Both of our blankets are seasonably interchangeable, but we use the Light Fruiting Blanket mainly for summer production. You may need to double up layers of the Light Fruiting Blanket to protect mushrooms during periods of heavy rain. Light Fruiting Blankets are cut in 12 x 10 ft. lengths - perfect for covering 10 ft. row of fruiting Shiitake logs stacked in an A-frame, or one to two crib stacks. We also use our blankets to protect cold weather fruiting mushrooms from logs resting on the forest floor from deer and rodent damage.
