Field & Forest Products began in 1983 on a woodlot in Peshtigo, Wisconsin, when founders Joe Krawczyk and Mary Ellen Kozak set out to show that healthy forests and good mushroom harvests go hand in hand. More than 40 years later, we are still proud to be part of this rotting world. Our team produces every batch of mushroom spawn in our own lab and tests new strains on our own farm before they reach you.
