Instructions

We have been working with Morel cultivation for years. While we have now successfully cultivated morels here at Field & Forest Products, it requires exacting conditions and vigilant monitoring. Because of the success rate, we think it is important that any money spent on environmental controls or season extenders such as hoops, tunnels or other infrastructure should be of solid quality and multi-use for other gardening projects once morel season has passed. Our Deluxe Morel Bundle is built with this in mind with quality materials that won't disintegrate into a pile of broken poles after one season.

We have had success with two different morel species: the Landscape Morel (Morchella importuna) and the Black Morel (Morchella sextelata). Both are promising due to their ability to form fruiting bodies without the presence of tree roots.

Recommended planting rate: 5 lb. bag will inoculate up to 30 sq. ft. Includes spawn and instructions.
