For 2027, we are offering two varieties of truffles on three different tree species. Please keep in mind that these are bareroot seedlings. For inventory and packaging purposes, we are offering varieties in sets of 5, in the options below. Each set of 5 costs $300, shipping included in price. 

• Set of 5 American Hazel (Corylus americana) inoculated with Burgundy Truffle (Tuber aestivum)
• Set of 5 Bur Oak (Quercus macrocarpa) inoculated with Burgundy Truffle (Tuber aestivum)
• Set of 5 Siberian Hazel (Corylus heterophylla) inoculated with Burgundy Truffle (Tuber aestivum)

• Set of 5 American Hazel (Corylus americana) inoculated with Appalachian Truffle (Tuber canaliculatum)
• Set of 5 Siberian Hazel (Corylus heterophylla) inoculated with Appalachian Truffle (Tuber canaliculatum)
• Set of 5 Bur Oak (Quercus macrocarpa) inoculated with Appalachian Truffle (Tuber canaliculatum)

Both truffles are sought-after for culinary purposes. Burgundy truffles lean more nutty while Appalachian truffles lean more garlicky. While the Burgundy truffle is more well-known and most adaptable across different regions, this article is a good read on the rising popularity of the Appalachian truffle.
