Peg Spawn

Peg spawn is mycelium grown into long, striated wooden dowels that can be easily pushed into soil/substrates. Peg spawn is specifically used for planting small areas. For growing Wine Cap mushrooms, plant in limited-space areas (like landscape borders) that are covered with hardwood chips or woody debris. For growing Morel mushrooms, plant pegs into mineral soils that have a fairly high percentage of organic material.
