Description
Like the planet, Jupiter™ is a Shiitake giant that grows from a little button to plate size. This strain is slow growing, so you need to wait 12-18 months before you harvest your first mushrooms. These mushrooms are as large as a barge, so you can't miss them. Fruits in early to mid-spring with a light fruiting in the fall. Fruiting temperature range is 35-55°F.
250 plugs will plant 5 logs, and 1,000 plugs will plant 20 logs (about 50 plugs per log, based on an average log size of approx. 40" long and 4" in diameter).
