Description
A bellwether by definition is an indicator of trends. Aptly named, this Shiitake strain signals the arrival of both spring and fall, with an abundance of large, thick, cup-shaped mushrooms with layer upon layer of white lace ornamentation. A highly productive, cool season fruiter that also boasts a fast spawn run. Bellwether™ yields heavier in the spring than in the fall, making it a fabulous treat at early spring farmers' markets.
