King Oyster Table Top Farm: The King Oyster produces 1-2 crops of mighty (and hefty) mushrooms. Its fat, dense stems can be sliced into coin shaped pieces and cooked until crispy and caps are lighter and crunchier when sautéed. To delay fruiting, especially when gifting, refrigerate upon receipt. Kit needs to be grown in temperatures below 60°F. Kit will remain dormant for up to 4 weeks refrigerated.
Shiitake Table Top Farm: Our most popular kit, capable of producing up to 1.5 lbs. of fresh Shiitake mushrooms. We guarantee the first fruiting, the rest is up to your "mushroom thumb"! Instructions and recipes included. To delay fruiting, especially when gifting, refrigerate upon receipt. Kit will remain dormant for up to 10 days refrigerated.
Pioppini Table Top Farm: The Pioppini mushroom has beautiful, deeply colored terra-cotta tinted caps, a smooth texture with long white stems, and usually grows in clusters. It's a culinary delight that can be easily incorporated into any dish. The entire mushroom - both cap and stem - can be used and it has a nutty, rich umami flavor and crunchy texture.
Once you receive your order, open shipping packaging immediately, remove kits and store as directed until you are ready to gift or use.
