Wide Range Oyster strains are a favorite among beginners and for use in certain commercial applications (such as bioremediation and substrate testing) where maintaining a specific temperature range is less important. These strains will fruit under a wide range of temperatures, so are reliable fruiters over time. The strains in this category produce most heavily in the lower end of their suggested temperature range.
